We are dedicating the Mardi Gras Trollbead to draw attention to a beautiful City in America that still needs our help. By purchasing the Mardi Gras Trollbead, a portion of the proceeds will be donated by www.iluvTrollbeads.com to the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity (NOAHH) Fund.

As stated on the www.habitat-nola.org/donate website, "the 2009 cost to build a Habitat Home is $85,000.  House Sponsors provide this funding and are invited to work side by side with our partner families, volunteers, and staff to build houses from the ground up.  Habitat houses are sold to partner families at cost through a zero-interest mortgage.  Each mortgage payment is put into a "Fund for Humanity" that helps NOAHH build more homes.  So in essence, one House Sponsorship helps NOAHH build many more homes down the road.
